Xbox One Backwards compatability
#1
Seems like the best place to put this thread as the topic covers many games.

If you have any info on the latest news about game titles for the backwards compatibility for Xbox One, chuck it in here.

Although Black Ops 2 is the most requested title to be given this treatment, the below article gives a good explanation as to why they aren't doing it, and are unlikely to in the future. All I can say is, everyone stop buying new CoD games from now on and we might just get a reboot collection for all the CoD's, at least up until Ghosts cause who really wants that one....

Microsoft was a publishing partner for Mass Effect (why it came to Xbox first and took forever to release on Playstation), but EA took over full responsibility for Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. From there it should be easy to put the pieces together for why Mass Effect is present, but not 2 or 3.

So most people probably know this, but just in case, I found out that if you have your console in energy saving mode, the new update for the UI and backwards compatibility won't happen automatically. You will need to go into settings to the appropriate area and update your xbox.

In case you are wondering, I have mine set to energy saving mode as it is supposed to reduce issues with the console (games not loading or starting up properly etc). So far so good for me since doing this.
